Once again the petite young maiden has found herself alone. It would appear that she and her twin brother have separated once more due to a heavy rainfall and a heavy storm. Timidly and carefully the white beauty would wander the land. She was careful to make as little noise possible and to listen to the noises around her. She had lost her mind to fear and sorrow, but she silently vowed to herself that she wouldn’t lose her mind once more. She would have waited and looked for her brother longer than she had, but she feared staying in that place for much longer. She was sure that her brother Vesperus was perfectly fine, and would understand for her need to move on. She wandered slowly in hopes he may catch up to her once more.

Valariea would pause as she gazed behind her, there was still nose sign of her dear brother, she was starting to think she might be getting further away from him. She was tempted to let her voice call for him, but her fears of being found by the Madars kept her as silent as a mouse. She let out a hopeless sigh as she sat and leaned against the trunk of a nearby tree, her long pastel stripped tail would wind itself to cover her paws. She was lost and unsure where to go.

Her violet eyes gazed up at the pinking sky. The sun was setting she would have to seek shelter soon and perhaps try to gain some sleep. The maiden would close her eyes softly and listen to the birds giving their last songs, the sound of the river that flowed nearby and felt the last warmth of the sun. She could almost be at peace here.
She didn’t quite understand how she could find some peace amongst her fears, but she didn’t question the calmness that washed over her gently. So long as she was alone she could feel the fears melt away, but all at once come creeping back to her, she tried to ignore the thoughts of what if she was found right now at this moment. She knew she would hear any who approached, and she felt a little more at ease knowing her brother would be nearby. At least she hoped he would.
Valariea would choose to curl up under the tree her violet eyes would turn back to the setting sun and she would watch in silence as darkness began to creep across the sky.

A long week of flying here and there made him glad to fold his wings and walk on land. The grass felt nice on his paws a rather welcoming trait this territory had. Today hadn't been to hot and the wind hadn't been bad either. Now that it was nearing sunset the temperature and humidity was dropping and conditions were becoming more comfortable. He had spent most of the day at the shore of the lake, that was here in Acinus, keeping himself cool by the waters. Now he was on the move, looking for a perfect spot to watch the sunset and the stars. He was hopeful that the skies would remain clear tonight, because there was little shelter around here to keep him dry. Lately the storms had been rather scary and the male would rather have some solid and large shelter if another storm popped up. Even though he didn't care for the heat and humidity he had to admit it really helped the arthritis in his right front leg.

Huffing the male picked up his pace as the sky grew pink and the sun began to sink closer to the horizon. He hopped through the grass, his wings tightly folded at his side. He was feeling rather spry and energetic for the moment. The male had been traveling for a while now and had been thinking about settling down, though he was hesitant. If his father was still alive he feared the man may try to ruin his life if he resurfaced, he had been laying low for a long time, hoping his father would think he had died of his injuries. He had fully recovered now and had practiced with his magic enough that he felt he would be able to defend himself. He had only heard of one pack that thrived in the mountains and felt that the altitude and temperature would be more crippling to him. So for now he would remain a traveler.

He had to stop his search, the sun was beginning to sink behind the horizon and he didn't want to miss it. He watched it disappear and watched the stars pop up in the sky passing the time with thinking. Once it was fully dark he began to move again, but stopped as something caught his eye. In the moonlight laid a white form, under a tree nearby. From the distance he couldn't make out the faint glow of her markings and she most likely wouldn't be able to see the faint glow of his gold markings, but it was another wolf and a chance at some possible company for a bit. He moved forward getting a bit closer before he barked, just letting the other know of his approach. When he got a few feet away he stopped his tail wagging lightly

<font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Hello there, do you mind some company?"</b></font> he asked hoping she wouldn't mind at all, he had been yearning for some company lately.

Valariea would watch the sun slip away and the stars slowly popping into view in the night sky. Her golden collar with the purple and pink gems would glimmer in the last of the sunlight. It was going to be a lovely night Valariea had decided. Her thoughts would drift away from her as she lost herself to watching the night sky emerge. She wasn’t alone for much longer however, her ears would pick up sounds of movement and a bark calling to her to grab her attention.

The maiden would sit up suddenly, a little startled she would look for the owner of the noises. It wasn’t long until her violet eyes would find a stranger she had never seen before. He was white, with golden markings. Her eyes widened slightly as she noted his wings. He lacked the feathers that the Madars had, she could see this clearly so he mustn’t be one of them.
Her tail would wrap itself around her delicately. The pastel pink markings on her body was slowly working on its faint glow in the fading light. She would be silent watching the stranger approach her slowly and not showing even a sliver of hostility. He would pause with a slight wag to his tail, and ask if he could join her.

Valariea didn’t quite know what to say to this stranger. She would remain silent for a moment watching his movements.
“I suppose some company couldn’t hurt…” Her soft voice would answer the stranger a little unsure what would bring him to her in the night.

The maiden would keep her eyes on the male studying his appearance. He was a beautiful creature with his gold markings. She noted he had a faint glow to him once he was closer, similar to herself. She would also notice the slight limb as he moved closer to her; perhaps she doesn’t need to be so hostile to this stranger? Her violet eyes would deepen with her curiosity. He didn’t look much older than her, and he didn’t have the appearance of recent hurts why would he be limping?
The question that had filled her mind quickly answered itself, there were some visible scars on the male, he had been in a fight long ago it would seem.

“…Do you always greet every wolf you meet in the same manor?” She would ask him, not meaning to be rude. It was curious how friendly he acted to someone he had never met before.

Her reply made him smile a little, glad she didn't mind the company. He moved closer, walking with his eyes cased downward, careful of his step in the tall grass. He moved to be close, but left a respectable space between himself and her before sitting down and allowing his long tail to wrap around him and sit on his front paws. Once up close she would easily be able to see his heavy scarring on his right side, bright pink pigment where hair never grew back. The slight limp he was harboring at this current day wasn't a painful one, mostly of habit. His colorful adornments and his gold earrings. His violet eyes noticed her looking him over which didn't bother him at all. He took the time to notice her beautiful light pink markings that had a slight glow, much like his own markings. He also noticed her necklace that quickly reminded him of his mother. His mother had a necklace similar, if not exactly like hers, but Vaclav knew the it must just be an odd coincidence. There was no way that that was the necklace his mother had worn.

His eyes met hers when she asked him a question which drew him into thought. He was weary of others, but he did like to be social. He did desire the company of others, but normally he was a bit more cautious.

<font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Normally I try to be more cautious, but it has been a while since I have had any interaction with others. I hope you don't mind"</b></font> he replied.

She didn't seem to mind, but he didn't want to be a bother either. If she would rather be alone then he would leave her be. He tried his best to be respectful to females even though his father never was, he seemed to use anyone he came across.

The maiden would shift herself slightly to hide her scars on her back, a habit she had when meeting new faces. The male would sit to make himself more comfortable, she noted he didn’t try to overwhelm her and kept a small distance between the two of this Valariea was grateful for. She would be quiet her watchful eyes would watch the male as he spoke in answer to her question. Although she couldn’t be entirely sure how truthful his words were, she could almost feel that this wolf was a gentler spirit than her initial fears thought.

She would glance away from him for a moment before thinking up an appropriate answer to this stranger.
“I don’t mind, my apologies if I appear to be overly hostile, but life hasn’t been the easiest for me. I’ve been alone for a long time myself, separated from my brother once again. Although I’m sure he isn’t horribly far.” She would say with her soft and quiet voice, very much like her mother’s.

The woman would look back at this stranger, her eyes full of questions she dare not ask in fears of being rude and coming across as unlady like. His scars would probably tell of a fearsome story, and yet as far as she could tell this male wasn’t as hard as one would expect of someone with the amount of scars that littered his body. It made Valariea a little uneasy, what if he was a maniac and had split personalities? She quickly brushed aside that silly thought. He didn’t look insane.

“I suppose now that we decided to share each other’s company I should introduce myself.” She would add. Her mind racing for a moment, she was taught to give her full name in a formal introduction, however her fear would bite in if this stranger knew of her family name. What if it turned out he hated the Volfglanz as well?
“My name is Valariea.” She would say softly refusing to give her family name as a sort of protection against this stranger. There was no point in treading dangerously if he was in fact another to hate the family. If her name was hidden there wouldn’t need any violence.

“Would you be so kind to give me yours?” She would ask the male as kindly as she could in the presence of a stranger.
Her mother might be proud of her this time around. She was keeping a calm presence and spoke kindly, while the last time she encountered strangers she had shamed herself in her insanity. Hopefully she could make up to her mother by keeping her head this time.

Ears perked forward as her soft voice spoke in a reply. She was apologetic with her reasoning being one who knew all to well. If he hadn't been taken in by the gypsy like clan he would have withdrawn from the world and would most likely not associate with others. Even with them taking him in he still struggled to be kind and welcoming to those he did not know. His father had crushed his trust in others, he had never thought his father would have stooped as low as he did. He was suppose to be able to trust his family with everything, which was the story with his mother, but not his father. With this he was sympathetic for this female, because he was all to familiar with life not being the easiest.

<font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Completely understandable and honestly I don't blame you,"</b></font> he replied.

Her voice was soft and gentle another trait that reminded him of his dear mother. She always seemed to be a kind soul even when she was mistreated by father. This reminder made him feel a bit more comfortable with this female because she was a reminder of how much he missed his mother. He kinda felt the presence of his mother, something that was eerie to him considering he had never felt it before. This female looked like a soul he could trust, maybe she could become a new friend or a short companion until her brother returned. Either way he was curious about her, even somewhat drawn to her. She gave a proper introduction, though noted the loss of a last name. This was common though, there was a few he came across that never introduced themselves with the last name, after what had happened with his father neither did he.

He knew his father was hated and that his last name was tainted. He had grown quite accustomed to giving only his first name allowing others to judge him as himself and not the last name he had. Someday he wanted to change the world's view on his family name, which he had yet to start. He had to figure out the proper way to do it which so far was a bit difficult.

<font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"I'm Vaclav, it's a pleasure to meet you Valariea, you have a beautiful name"</b></font> he replied with a gentle and genuine smile. <font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Is your brother and yourself loners or do you belong to a pack or clan?"</b>

He was curious to find out more about this beautiful creature and hopefully make a friend

The male would speak gently and polity to her, her nerves would smooth out with the sound of his voice. He was really just a random encounter after all. She was grateful for the opportunity to have a nice conversation with this stranger without fear of them working for the Madars. She couldn’t help but to smile a little bit when he would complement her name as he introduced himself. His name was Vaclav; she would look him over as she noted he didn’t reveal his last name. Was he hiding his name too?

She frowned slightly as she repeated his name in her head a couple times over, she almost felt like the name was familiar to her, but she couldn’t really say how or why. She knew she heard it once before a long time ago back with her parents and her twin brother living in that little den in the dead woods. A place of nightmares, her body would give a shudder at the memory and the small scars on her back seemed to ache along with it. She almost missed his question about her and her brother, if they were part of a pack or were loners.

She looked away from Vaclav once more, her gaze lingering out in the far distance.
“My brother and I have been loners roaming the lands since we lost our mother and our father…” She would pause to glance back at the male her violet eyes suddenly a little saddened.
“Since our father ripped the wings from my back…” She said in a soft whisper.
“My brother had left me to gain vengeance. I haven’t seen my brother since. I fear the Madars may have silence him…. Or that our father ended him.” Her voice was filled with her sorrow, and grew more quiet when she spoke of her father. She didn’t give away too much of her tale, only the main points. Hopefully she hadn’t revealed too much to the stranger.

The last things she wanted was for him to figure out who she was, and what family she belonged to especially if he did turn out to be allies with the Madars. She dropped her gaze once more to gaze at the ground as she battled the sorrows inside. It would not due to let them take control of her once again.

Something changed when she looked away from him, her expression changed and he even felt as if she was sad all before she spoke. At first her tail wasn't two bad, but she second part hit home for him. His eyes and his demeanor softened. How much pain that she had to feel. Her voice had quieted and her expression was that of sadness and his tugged at his golden heart. He could relate to her in so many ways just because of what her father had done to her. The fallen prince outstretched one of his large wings to gently touch her cheek, offering his comfort without invading to much of her face. After the gentle touch he pulled his wing back, folding it in place at his side. Quietly he sighed his gold eyes soft as he prepared himself to tell his tale.

<font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"I can relate to your pain Valariea, my father was a vary cruel man. He was the man to give me these scars and if I hadn't been able to escape he would have taken my life."</b></font> he started his eyes closing as memories of his beloved Mira.

<font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"I was set to be exactly like him, until Mira changed my life. I fell for her and took her as my mate and soon her belly swelled with pups. When my Father found out he went crazy and while I was out, mutilated and murdered her. Then he attacked me and since he couldn't kill me I was banished. I had gotten news of my mother's death, but I haven't heard of my father's status."</b></font> He finished, his eyes still closed briefly as he repressed the sight of his mates dead body.

It was still hard for him to get over the death of Mira and his unborn children. He still blamed himself, but if he would have went with his father and took the prearranged female as a mate he would have been miserable. Without Mira he felt like he was missing half of himself.

The small lady would slip into her silence, and she remained unresponsive to the outstretch of Vaclav’s wing as it gently touched her in a want to comfort her. As wonderful as that would have been she would not encourage it, afraid she would break apart once more. She had barely pulled everything back together as it were. Her violet eyes although remained tinted with her sorrows she watched and was quiet as she listen to the male speak. She listened to his equally as sad a tale her ears gave a twitch as her mind drifted back to the life in the cave in the woods when her family was in hiding.

She vaguely remembered a sorrow her mother had felt about another child, one she had lost. Her sorrow was only shown when her father Viance was out hunting with her brother. He was almost always training her twin brother molding him to be like him in every way. There was some mutterings of traitors in the blood from her father while he slept. Her mind would carry her down memory lane. Suddenly Vaclavs name came crashing into her. Her Violet eyes would widen with the sudden shock.

The man before her had to be the golden son whom had possessed such promise. Her eyes traced over his notable features once more. He certainly looked to be of her kin. White, with his golden markings. His eyes violet like hers, his wings with the likeness of angels. His name even started with a V, as was tradition in her family.

Valariea being so shocked by her realization she was back on her feet, startled like a cat. At first all she could do was stare at him with Violet eyes wide with surprise. A whisper of “Volfglanz” Would slip from her lips as she gazed at the male before her. Of course she couldn’t be entirely sure, but it all rang too familiar, it shook her to the bone.
She quickly shook away her staring eyes and erased the shock away from her face, she looked at him with a new look in her eyes; it was a glimmer of hope and sudden sureness. She met his gaze head on.

“Vaclav…. Vaclav Volfglanz….You must be the golden boy, how my…. Our mother grieved over you. To think you are alive… after all this time, our father Viance…. He swore you were dead, no more a part of our family. That we would never lay eyes on your traitorous blood.” She would start off speaking strong but her voice quivered and softened as her eyes watered some.
“If only mother was here, she would be so happy to lay her eyes on you.”

It was difficult for his to push it all to the back of his mind and to keep himself from dwelling in the memories. His intent was to have a nice conversation with this women, but now both of them were upset stuck in the past like they were still currently living it. It seemed like it took him forever to pull himself together, to think of something to change the subject so that they may both have a nice and happy conversation. In fact it wasn't until bits of her whisper pulled him back to the current situation.

Opening his eyes and looking to her he was somewhat startled to find her eyes, on her feet, and looking similar to a startled feline. His ears flattened unsure of how to react as she stared at him, not sure what thoughts were swimming through her mind. He definitely wasn't expecting her sudden blow of words. As she spoke his full name his eyes widened a bit in surprise and after that he seemed to only catch bits and pieces of what she said. She had seemed to speak so fast that the combination of the words and her speech made him dizzy.

To much to handle things like 'Volfglanz', 'Golden Boy', 'our mother', and 'our father Viance' through the man for a loop. This tossed his world upside down, did he really have a sister? He felt like he couldn't control his thoughts, he couldn't pull them together to comprehend what she was saying. Jaw unhinged and he stared at her eyes in complete disbelief. If his parents would have had another litter he should have found out by numerous outsiders. Enemies were spying on the pack so how did he not find out, but it made sense. She fit the family bloodline in appearance and her necklace looked exactly like the one his mother used to wear. Lastly her wings being ripped off by Viance sounded on target after what Viance had done to him.

Though the man still felt unable to pull words together, to have a proper response for Val. With her eyes watering, the last sentence made his heart crumble. His dear mother, Gods rest her soul. He has missed her so much since he was banished and he ached knowing how his father treated her. She always took it with stride, remained proud, and took care of the family. It pained him to know she died never having the chance of finding a true gentleman that would treat her like a queen. His head dropped as he squeezed his eyes shut and remained there for a minute before looking up into the sky.

<font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Where ever your taken after death I'm sure her eyes are upon both of us, I just wish I could see her again"</b></font> his voice was quieter and softer this time his mind still spinning. He looked back to her before a soft smile came to his lips, the hope in her eyes lightened his mood and in a way helped him stitch his thoughts back together.

<font style="color: #cc9933; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"I'm sorry, I didn't know I have siblings, so I'm not quite sure how to act. I'm happy to have siblings, to have family left, but I know nothing about you or our brother"</b></font> he explained trying to make sense.
