She stood on the outskirts of the forest, her gaze tipped up as she surveyed the massive trees. Nostrils flared with the heavy scents of forest and prey. But something else lingered. Distinct scents hung in the air, though the land was not claimed by a pack. She had mixed feelings about entering the forest on the off chance that someone had claimed it as their own, the last thing she needed was trouble. Claws kneaded the ground restlessly. Limbs remained perfectly squared, a now natural habit, her tail still curled at her hocks. But her ears trained forward on the forest and her eyes no longer trained on the ground. Leathery nostrils flared, inhaling the smells. She had been safe in this land so far, but she didnt think it would last much longer, it never lasted, as she had learned.

She hadn't made it official, hadn't claimed this land or marked any territories other then marking the area surrounding Silenti Etc. Though that was more to mark it to remind her to stay out rather then to keep others out or in. Whatever dark magic was there she wanted nothing to do with it. Like a ghost she would drift through the forest, massive fail floating behind her like a scarf on a gentle breeze, seeming to be prepethally held in an 's' shape. A scent would drift towards her, feminine and rouge. Curious... As always the strange woman would move towards it, lower jaw unhinged and sonar pings keeping painting a strange image before her. Like a black ghost she would appear before the woman, sharp eyes fixating on her eerily. <I>'What business do you have...'</I> Her voice was soft, lazy, wiggling itself into the woman's mind with little effort.

She was not left alone for the long. A voice in her mind startled her, causing the slave girl to jump, eyes searching wildly for the source. Immediately she found the gaze of a she wolf. Her gaze dropped to the ground, a familiar stance of attention falling into place. <B>I was simply exploring, I don't mean to intrude.</b> Her voice soft as always, a heavy accent coloring her words. Her heart thundered against her chest with the fear of punishment, a constant in her life, something she could always expect. She remained utterly still, her skull tipping slightly to the side in a show of submission. She had not stared long enough to realize that the wolf before her was blind. Claws slid in and out of their sheathers, sinking into the ground and retracting like a nervous tick, it was the one thing she could do without being noticed.

So jumpy... So sweet... So innocent. These were all traits that Erzsebet liked, no... These were traits she coveted. Maybe it was because they were things she had never experienced herself, who really knew... Ezzy couldn't see the woman drop her gaze so she would continue to stare eerily at the woman. She would speak after a moment, speaking of exploring and that she hadn't intended to intrude. How sweet... It was hard not to notice the sound of the girl kneading the ground, as if maybe she could dig her way out of this but there was no such luck, she was here forever now. That was what this forest did to people, sucked them in and forced them to stay forever. Slowly she would slither forward, moving with an eerie silence as she drifted around the girl as if inspecting her. 'Come dear, one does not come to this forest without purpose...' She would urge, hoping to dig down deep and find out what this girl sought. Ezzy was the granter of wishes, the one who empowered the weak by bending them to her will. It was something she enjoyed and she saw an opportunity to do the same here...

@Erish
The woman grew closer, the telltale sounds of paws against the earth and rustling of fur. She held utterly still, even as the strangers voice filled her mind and made a circle around her. Apparently everyone came here for a reason. Her mind shot into overdrive, trying to come up with an excuse that would please the lady. <b>"If you gave me a purpose..."</b> Her voice trailed off uncertainly. She had no purpose right now, she had no reason to be here other than curiosity, and look where that had gotten her. Regret spread like poison, she should have never come here, she should have stayed away from the dark and looming trees. But it reminded her of home, a dangerous thing.

@Erzsébet
Tension rolled off her in waves, almost tangible to the woman as she continued to drift around the woman as if chasing her own tail. Massive limb would create an almost perfect semi circle around the girl as if to draw her near. Though her tail was not as muscular as some she could hold it aloft easily enough, though if the girl decided to run for it it would be easy to escape. Well it would be easy to escape the encirclement at least... Soft words would lip from lips and immediately marked brows would shoot up with feigned interest. Lips would purse in thought though she was simply going through the motions, she already had plans made... She always did. 'If it is purpose you seek I can give you one. ' Ezzy would offer, words tantalizing and tempting as she fixated those sharp eyes on the woman before her. Purpose. Erszebet excelled at giving wolves purpose. 'I can make you strong, teach you your powers whatever they may be... All I ask in return is your loyalty... For two short years. Then the contract can be... renegotiated.' Very few ever lasted to their two years, most tried to replace themselves before then as she had no doubt Lux hoped to one day do. So now it was all on this girl, this little waif of a thing. Did she have the backbone for such a life?

@Erish
The womans petite body encircled her. Massive tail completed the semi circle, though she still had room to escape, she would never dream of it. Tension radiated off her, muscles tensed and she began to tremble. Silence met her, and she feared the worse. But the woman had a proposition, she offered to give her a purpose, to make her strong and then after her time was up, their terms could be changed. A contracted, she wanted a contract. But she didn't understand, she had never been given a choice, she was always told what to do. <b>"Um."</b> Her voice was soft, almost inaudible as she frantically tried to think. Sure she could be loyal, it had become an essential part of her survival, but at what cost would her loyalty come to this one? <b>"My powers, I can heal."</b> She fumbled. <b>"Though I'm no fighter ma'am."</b> Panic. <b>"Unless you want me to be."</b> She scrambled to right her transgression so that she wouldn't offend the woman.
She was confused, a bit lost even as Ezzy offered her a contract. She was given a choice... Words tumbled from her mouth, almost to confused to form them. After a moment she would carry on, outlining what he powers were. A healer... Those were always in high demand... Not s fighter. Unless Ezzy wanted her to be? What a strange creature... Inky lips would slowly coil up in the smallest of smiles as she studied the girl. Her aura withered with colours... <I>'We employ fighters to fight... Your only job would be to learn your magic. Do you accept these terms?'</I> Ezzy would ask though even before the girl could answer the bands around Ezzy's tail would come to life, seeming to move with their own will. Some would liquify and drip to the ground before shooting towards the girls left leg. Up her leg it would run before settling in a band around her upper left limb above her elbow. It would be impossible to remove without a synthetic user like herself or Newt. <I>'Contracts have a band on their left arm, apprentices have them on their right. You may prove yourself through study to become an apprentice or you may fight for it. If neither happens, when your two years are up I will let you free or you may stay as an apprentice...'</I> Ezzy was no longer really giving her an option...

@Erish
The voice was in her mind again, telling her that fighters were employed to fight, she only needed to learn her magic. Confusion furrowed her brow as her gaze remained down cast. A question was posed. Terms? Jaws parted, uncertain sounds filling the gap. <b>Yes?</b> If that's what this woman then sure she would agree, it was no longer part of her nature to disagree. An odd feeling formed around her upper foreleg, pulling her gaze from the ground to the appendage. A strange metal band appeared, causing eyes to widen and a gasp of panic to leave her lips. She had not been this frightened in a long time. Again the woman was speaking, this of time more contracts and how they were marked. She could prove herself as an apprentice or fight for it. Fighting was out of the question. If she chose to do neither, then come two years time she would be free or can choose to stay. Her thoughts swirled chaotically. <b>Yes ma'am</b> She stumbled over her words, petite figure trembling. It was a mistake to come here, she should have stayed away. Now she was bound, and with physical evidence of her servitude, she couldn't escape. Not this time.
