There was nothing quite as satisfying as overcoming a challenge. As of late it seemed as though life itself was a constant challenge to overcome. Night had long since fallen by the time the enchantress had found her way to the summit, loss of light not having swayed the young girl from her endeavour to scale the tall mountain side and force it to reveal its secrets to her. Cooling air danced around the dark hued fae as paws of mismatched color found themselves upon flattened lands. Emerald tendrils licking at her fur with soft wet kisses that told of a constant due which permeated the lands.
<P>
Sharp gaze searched the surrounding world, fog blanketing all in sight and taken to a slight glow from moonlight which shone down from the heavens that the enchantress so unwittingly matched. Cranial cocking to the side in curious gesture, the young woman prowled forward with soundless foot falls, easing through the fog as though it pushed against her. Smirk did splay across her lips, a deep breath filling the woman's cage before being let out in a long exhale. It was peaceful up here, it was solitary, much like her existence had been. If not for the lack of food, this would make a perfect dwelling for one such as she.
<P>
Thick banner lashed out at her ankles, swaying as colors danced and weaved with each movement, reflecting hues of violet, turquoise and blues. Her starlit speckles drowned out by the fog, leaving the darker nature of her exotic pelt to take over. She was alone in the thick mist, no scents dared to stain the lands save for her own and as she ventured further, the fact of lonesomeness became more apparent. She was left to stain the lands with her presence without challenge and so she did, venturing about the free lands of her own whim before finally finding herself tired and meandering toward large slabs of gunmetal hue. Leaping up atop the stones she freed herself from the thick fog, allowing for the starlit texture of her pelt to twinkle and dance, bringing shame to the skies overhead. Body sprawled out like a sphinx ruling over the desert. Proud head held high as eyes cast to the heavens, watching the stars twinkle in challenge to dare outshine their brilliance.

<P> He knew this would be a walk to remember. His cranium would tilt up to look at just how high Rogo truly was and if he had what it takes to make it up. Many say this is where you go to get your blessings from the Gods if you're deemed worthy and fit enough. Though he also heard you could get a curse, if you shame and betray them. It was no game to test your fate against them, they were powerful and could quite easily destroy their creations. us. Once he started to walk up, he was careful where he chose to step, knowing some of the rocks were loose and he could quite easily stumble. He kept a rather fast and constant paste, determined to reach the top as soon as possible. the higher he went, the more quiet and peaceful it became. You could still hear the winds whistling and the birds singing though you could no longer hear some of the common nature tunes. Like the waters rippling and the mammals shifting. His view was beginning to get foggier as the mist started to surround him.
<P> It felt like the Gods had purposely blocked his view in the efforts of making it more difficult. Pushing through, he would carry on with his journey, his fire flares against the dull scenery making him much more visible and easier to see. Once he finally made it to the top, muscles would relax, a long sigh slipping out of ebony lips. As he took a moment to catch his breath and regain his strength, cranium would turn as triangular ears twitch, hearing the faint footsteps of another. He didn't expect to find another up here to, accepting the challenge of Rogo. She glowed brightly and drew others in with the light. He would simply look upon her for a moment, they both held light, as if challenging the night sky. Her appearance reminded him of a galaxy, with calm blues and purple, molding into black. Breaking the silence between them, his lips would depart " I see you wished to challenge yourself to." He would murmur to her, remaining where he was. wishing not to invade on personal space. " It's peaceful up here. This is where the Gods linger." He would inform, not sure whether she was a native or other. " I'm Si'drue Vaugh."

Iridescent glow soon found itself challenged once again, no longer was hers the only soul which dwelled within the heavenly lands that she had found her way to. No, now within the thick fog came an orange glow. <font style="color:# 3b4dc3;"><b>"Flames?"</b></font> Came the question upon her whispered lips while her cranium ever so slightly leaned toward the right with questioning gaze of spiral light focusing on the orange glow which seemed to be slowly inching closer to her.
<P>
As the flames drew closer, they soon began to take shape, her mismatched gaze locked and focused on the flickering light which seemed to hold a scent to it. <font style="color:# 3b4dc3;"><b>"A wolf."</b></font> She spoke, almost testing the statement as it slipped from her obsidian lips. Indeed she was not mistaken. As the being stood before her, it became quite clear that what she had believed to be some strange flame, was in fact a wolf which seemed to live within flames itself. A manifestation of flame spirits? No, this was some type of mortal.
<P>
His voice was unexpected, level and calm, gentle even. The woman let a smile trace her kissers, her sentinels pricking forward as the stranger spoke to her. <font style="color:# 3b4dc3;"><b>"I've never been the type to turn a challenge down. Seems counterproductive in my mind."</b></font> Her lyrics chimed with a slight laugh, shoulders rolling forward as she inched further toward the edge of her perch to glance upon the male with closer inspection. <font style="color:# 3b4dc3;"><b>"Gods you say? What an interesting notion... It's nice to meet you Si'drue. My name is Gambit... Gambit Verochka.</b></font>

<P> He often enjoyed roaming in the night time when all was quiet, it made it easier to hear those around you, making you more aware of your surroundings. Though, he wasn't very well hidden. His fur stood out against ebony, while his fire simply gave him away. He would look upon her shimmering form, quickly coming to the conclusion she was no threat. She would speak, fire, though it sounded more like a question of disbelief as though it took a moment to figure out if it were truly real. " It is fire, though it can't harm." It was strange to think about, day to day the fire upon him was passive and others can actually touch it, though with his fire ability when he wishes to he can make it more destructive. He would slowly become comfortable in her presence and as she answered his question, he couldn't help but smile " I've never been the type to turn a challenge down. Seems counterproductive in my mind." she seemed determined, not quitting easily. " Rogo itself is quite challenging." He would murmur before falling into comfortable silence for a moment. " Yes, I know very little about the Gods though, I'm still new to these lands." He'd sigh, before speaking once more " I'm guessing you're also new to Vindico?" By the way she spoke, it was clear.
