Most of these will reflect the myths of real life, but some will not.

Mythical Creatures:

((Credit to Agent 9 for Hipogriff info))
Hippogriff (or Hippogryph)
Though their names are quite similar, Hippogriffs are markedly different from their well-known "cousins," gryphons. Their heads and upper bodies can be those of any avian species, but the lower portions of their bodies resemble a horse's, from their hooves to their long, swishing tails. The most common hippogriff has the head of an eagle and the lower half of an average horse, though an array of different mixtures of species is possible. Nearly all of them are winged, and it's rare (but not unheard of) to come across one without the ability to fly.
Hippogriffs tend to be a bit more aggressive and territorial than gryphons, as well as fiercely protective of their kin. They also see themselves as superior than most other species, and like to boast about their strength and intelligence.
Locations - High altitudes; prefer nesting in mountainous caves.

Dragons
Varies from Rare to Uncommon, depends upon the area  and the climate of the area.
Location: Mountainous regions or volcanic areas. This can vary however depending on the dragon.
Most dragons are more inclined to fire and the sun. They enjoy warm climates and hot temperatures of volcanic regions or in the heart of a mountain where they can conceal themselves in their own personal furnace.
There are rumors of dragons with other proclivities such as cold temperatures, wet environments or aqueous habitats, and even those that prefer to spend their time on the outer rims of the atmosphere.
A dragon's appearance tends to reflect their 'element' and the environment they prefer to reside in. For example a fire dragon will most likely be any combination of warm colors and hues, perhaps with intricate designs resembling flames or the sun, and will commonly have warm colored eyes and detailing as well.
Each dragon has an 'element' that they embody. Their is no limit to what this element can be. Be it the basic four of wind, water, fire, and earth, or more intricate and complicated ones like light, darkness, shadows, life, plasma, space, time, etc. Some dragons have been recorded as having no element and are usually plain in appearance or mostly nondescript.
Dragons can vary in age and longevity of life. The older a dragon is the more practiced it will be in its element. One of the oldest dragons ever seen was estimated to be upwards of 3,000 years, but its existence is still considered only a rumor. Many dragons only live to be in their eighties or early hundreds and are fully mature at twenty or so.
A dragon can have two to four legs and a set of wings or no wings at all. Some dragons can still fly without having wings, but these are usually air element dragons. Some dragons have neither limbs nor wings and live in the waters and are often referred to as sea serpents.
There is no known limit to the appearance a dragon can have, nor the mutations a dragon can embody due to its element or its draconic lineage.

•Griffin (Gryphon) -
Locations- High altitude areas, some have been known to reside in cold climates and even jungle areas. Cliff areas with high outcroppings.
A gryphon is simply defined as any feline mixed with an avian species. The most common known gryphon is the classic lion body and eagle head mix. However other gryphon's have been sighted such as black panther body with a raven head or a caracal body with a red-tailed hawk head and front legs. These beasts can vary in size and all manners of appearance but all have the general staple of having an avian head and torso/front legs, and a large cat or feline body or back.
These creatures are generally proud and vain beings that pride family, honor, and battle prowess above all else. They tend to keep to themselves and their clutches and nests, but will occasionally involve themselves with the canine species of Vindico if need be.

•Unicorn: (FennecFyre)
Equine at a glance, but with a distinctly deerlike litheness to their bodies. While unicorns can vary in appearance from habitat to habitat, they usually always have cloven hooves, a long tufted tail, and a single horn, whether curved or straight, Unicorns found in the tropical rainforests are often smaller and stockier than their temperate-forest cousin, and may sport roached manes or dun markings, while forest unicorns may have dappling down their sides, like a fawn. Contrary to popular belief, their coats are not always solid white--while almost always pale in color, palomino, grey, champagne, and other coat colors have been seen. Unicorns are heralded as magical healers of great renown, but due to the demand for their blood, horns, and tears as magical and medicinal ingredients, they are skittish and often reluctant to involve themselves with outsiders. Some would even go so far as to call them xenophobic.
Location: Heavily forested areas, jungles, and places laced with magic.

•Phoenix:(FennecFyre)
So little is known about this bird that most are even unsure how many there are. Some say that there is only a single phoenix, others say that there are four, one for each of the four cardinal directions. A phoenix has the head of an eagle, but with the long legs of a secretary bird and the elegant tailfeathers and crest of a peacock, and is adorned in fiery coloring--rich reds, sulfuric yellows and oranges, and regal purples. They normally fly high in the sky, often too high to be seen clearly, but it is believed that where they land, they bring good fortune and peace. By remaining near dangerous areas, a phoenix can also prevent a volcano from erupting or a desert from spreading. Phoenix fire is highly-magical, and can burn away illness and injury is well as reduce creatures to a pile of ash--let those of a darker nature beware! Every five hundred years, at the end of their lifespan, a phoenix builds itself a nest of kindling and lights itself on fire, burning away into nothing and leaving a single egg in the ashes. After five days, the egg hatches into a new phoenix, retaining the memories of all its past incarnations. Should a wolf desperate enough to wish for such a fate seek them out and sway them, the phoenix will immolate them as well, leaving behind a small pup with or without recollection of its past life.
Location: Deserts, Fire burned lands, wastelands, volcanoes

Roc (Thunderbird)
These are massive birds of legend. Tales of these magnificent creatures have been told to young pups for ages. These birds can vary  in all manners of shape, color, and species and dominate the sky with their almost ruthless and fierce disposition. A Roc can stand anywhere from ten to twenty feet in height and have massive wing spans nearly double that. These birds are often referred to as Thunderbirds due to their loud wing beats that rumble like the coming of a storm and their thunderous cry that can be heard for miles.
Location: Mountains and high altitudes. Usually snow laden lands and colder temperatures as well, but there are species that live in warmer climates.

Manticore- Unlike the man-faced beasts of Greek legend, these monstrosities are more lion in nature than human. Instead of the characteristic human face they are full lion, the menacing snarl, mane, teeth, and all. The main difference between the Manticore and a regular lion is the fact that where a tail should be a scorpion stinger sprouts from. This tail, accompanied by stinger of course, can be as long as the lion's body sometimes. It is heavily armored and capable of paralyzing and severely injuring prey or potential enemies. The males use the tails in mating displays and to ward off potential rivals as well, while females use the tails for hunting and fending off unwanted suitors. One other major thing about these beasts is there affinity for fire and flame. Some have been rumored to even sleep upon hot coals or drink from the lava of volcanoes, though whether or not these rumors are true is yet to be seen...
Locations: Dry, arid lands. Deserts, Volcanic regions.

Vampyre
These creatures were birthed from darkness and evil itself. No one knows exactly where they came from or how they have managed to become the thing of nightmares and scary stories to tell to pups, but their existence spread like wild fire in Vindico. Though many doubt their existence and even fewer have seen or lived to tell the tale of these beings the Vampyres do exist. They aren't the human creatures from legend, instead these are massive bat-like creatures that can be the size of a wolf or larger. They typically possess red-glowing eyes and are all black in order to blend in with the night and shadows they reside in. They must feast on blood, living or recently dead, and can choose to completely drain their prey or only take just enough to not kill the victim. They are usually weak to the light and do not venture from the darkness of their caves and burrows when the sun shines, but if they are freshly fed they can endure overcast or rainy days without being too affected.
Locations: Anywhere dark. Cold, hot, humid, temperate, as long as they have some place to burrow away from the night than they can live there.

Cernunnos
White stag creature with golden antlers and hooves and fur that shines with an etheral and otherworldy light. They stand tall and proud and have massive branching antlers atop their heads. An elusive creature that lives in the hearts of forests. These beings are quiet and silent on foot and sometimes are thought to be ghosts and deceased defenders of the forest. These magical beings possess healing properties and are considered good luck and a promise of fortune to come if sited during a hunt or a trek in the forest. It is rumored that these wise spirits of the forest will not be seen unless they wish to be seen and they are rumored to be capable of communicating with all creatures in Vindico.
Locations: Forests, places heavy with magic or godly influence

Nendyna (or Cave Bear)
Cave Bear- Giant cave dwelling creature. Rumored to live in the bowels of mountains these beasts are hulking and massive in stature. Though this makes them slow and lumbering and they are not want for fat or girth as they have adipose tissue in abundance which helps them survive in colder climates and go extended periods of time without food. These are not the smartest creatures and are more brawn than brain. Though they are very effective body guards and formidable warriors if they are motivated to fight.
Locations: Mountains, cold climates, temperate forests, caves

---------------------------------------
Flora: Anything, whether exclusive to Vindico or real life.

Herbs-  already done by Saf

Berries-
Juniper Berry- Commonly used as a source of food and also for older individuals to help alleviate the symptoms and aches of arthritis. Dark-blue almost black in appearance and usually small to moderately sized in diameter.
Location: Lush forests

Nightshade- poison; in large enough quantities can effectively kill the one who consumes them. Can be mistaken for blue berries and even hidden in food or carcasses of animals. Green when young, but ripen into a shiny black. The presence of nightshade usually indicates that water is nearby. Despite being toxic they have somewhat of a sweet taste and can accidently be eaten by young pups for this reason. The leaves and roots are even more dangerous and when consumed can fell an adult.
Locations: Areas with water and forests

Holly Berries- cause vomiting and nausea. Good for ridding someone of ingested poison. Bright red in appearance with a cluster of three leaves surrounding each bunch of berries. Eaten in quantities of around twenty can be fatal, but when eaten in small amounts can cause digestion and intestinal problems and malfunctions.
Locations: Tropical and humid climates. Damp soil and moisture in air must be present.

Trees/Mega Flora-

Carnivora- Giant carnivorous plants with calcium deposits shaped like teeth at the edges of the petal shaped mouth. Thorns line the stem and noxious poison is pooled at the pit of the flower's maw. These things are rather big, standing at a height of around seven or eight feet and usually eat anything, or attempt to eat anything, that comes into their path.
Locations: Jungles and Tropical climates

Giant Mushroom- These massive life forms can range anywhere from eight to about twenty feet tall, some have even been recorded as taller than that. These unique species of mushroom are massive and provide homes for many different life forms and tend to grow in large clusters and colonies. These beings are not sentient, but they are capable of communicating that a presence is about by sending electrical pulses through their bodies and roots to others surrounding them. This signal shows up as a pulsing blue light and is almost beautiful when someone walks through a forest of these towering sentinels and triggers this light show reaction.
Locations: Damp Forested Areas. Often dark or subterranean areas, but have been known to grow above ground in heavily canopied or shaded areas.

Dryn - immobile trees with ability to communicate through telepathy and magic. Can hold secrets of the past and can keep runes on bark that reveal secrets or ancient magic.
Locations: Areas embued with magic. Forests, mountains, and near water.
------------------
Fauna: Native to Vindico and therefore cannot be found in the real world. There are some species that can be found in Vindico that are real world in nature, but this list of Fauna will consist of that only native to Vindico.

Small Prey:

Jackra- small rabbit-like creatures with a hare's face , but a fox like body and legs. They have long six rabbit-like ears and a large bushy tail that is larger than their body in some cases. When it become winter and it is cold they can be found in burrows curled up beneath their tails. Their coats usually change to reflect the four seasons and go from browns and tans and golds of autumn and summer to whites and greys and blues in winter. They are unique because they communicate by leaving behind messages in glowing paw prints on the bark of trees, rocks, or even in the dirt. These creatures are very agile and quick and when pursued will dart up trees or tuck themselves into nooks and crannies that large predators can't reach.

Kiyla- These are relatively small creatures, about the size of a bear's paw and only as tall as a Chihuahua at most. Tiny wings sprout from their back, relatively useless and incapable of granting the little beastie flight these wings are used for cooling off in the heat and for flaring when the Kiyla encounters a threat or a competitor when finding a mate or establishing territory. These creatures are mostly mouse-like with some marsupial qualities to them as well. They have long tufted ears and huge round eyes that appear almost all black. They have a pouch for carrying young in and have powerful hind legs that allow them to run through atop the loose and sifting sands of deserts or to skitter across the dry and rocky grasslands. Their tail is long and rudder-like allowing them to balance whilst running and their forelimbs are small and thin compared to the hind ones. These creatures usually have very intricate and unique patterning across their backs in the shape of stripes, dots, or swirls. These little desert marsupials have a unique ability to conjure small amounts of light in between their forepaws. This is used to attract and lure insects and bugs to them for them to eat, but much like fireflies they also manipulate it to attract a mate during the mating season.

Large Prey:

Husfa- (FennecFyre) While hideous at a glance, appearing as nothing less than a mangy rat of wolf-size proportions, one cannot write the Hufsa off as mere beasts. They are as intelligent as a wolf, if not moreso, and what they lack in magic and mutations they make up for in one enormous advantage--hands. Hufsa forepaws, while still animalistic, are extremely dexterous, and by balancing with their long, prehensile tail they can shuffle on their hind legs. Hufsa technology is significantly ahead of the small trinkets and satchels wolves make--they wear jewelry and coverings against the elements, carry metal weapons to augment their teeth and claws, and rather than digging dens, build expansive underground warren-towns lit by torches and supported by subterranean farming and fishing. Some refuse to trust the beady-eyed creatures, and there exist rumors of Hufsa clans kidnapping and enslaving wolves. Furthermore, as no set alliance exists between wolves and Hufsa, some consider the large beasts fair game when outside their warrens. However, they are often willing to trade goods for meat and hides from wolf-kills. Hufsa come in a variety of colors and markings, from the usual agouti brown to black to steel-blue. Albino Hufsa are rare, and often take on roles as priests and sages. They worship a single, enigmatic god they refer to as the Craftsmaster, who they claim inspired their technological prowess.

Bulksan- These are large bovine creatures with horns that curve forwards and multiple eyes. These creatures are hulking beast, muscular and brute-like and they aren't the brightest creatures. These bull-like animals have four eyes on each side of their face and have large wart like growths scattered throughout their body that can emit a gaseous and noisome scent when threatened. But these things are desired prey for many because once killed the gas pockets become ineffective and the meat hidden beneath the tough leather hides is said to be quite succulent and tender. Usually a deep to light blue color with pocks of green and red around joints and snout, the warts are also a sickly yellow and noxious green color, surrounded by an angry red.

Small Predator:

Vypre - snakes...

Large Predator:

Mustelidae- Carnivorous, not necessarily towards wolves, but will kill a wolf if necessary. Bipedal Mustelids peeps. Dislike wolves and other canines. Have a feud with the Husfa and believe themselves to be better crafters. Specialize in jewel work, cleaning and setting stones into weapons or other items to make beautiful creations. Some of the more aquatic inclined tribes live near water and have primeval settlements that are dam-like and/or raft like. Others live in the mountains or in colder regions. These creatures vary in appearance and build based on heritage and bloodlines. The highest order bloodline is that of pure Melinae (badgers) and these live in the mountainous regions of Vindico where they construct plates of armor encrusted with jewels. These noble bloods, as they call and refer to themselves, dislike the others who consist of the bloodlines of the otter, badger, weasel, marten, ferret, mink and wolverine-like kind of the Mustelids.

• Tylax (Tie-lacks) --picture later goes here---
Habitat- Varies but nowhere too cold or too hot. Prefer humid climates or places with large cave systems or areas in perpetual darkness where they can burrow and build nest or colonies. Jungles, forests, mountains (low altitude, deciduous)
Uncommon to Common depending on area or terrain
An insect-arachnid mixture capable of various mutations and varying  insect-like appearances. Tamable and considered docile in nature. Tend to keep to their own colonies and nests.  Their are bands and colonies of these monstrous insect-arachnid hybrids that tend to cause trouble and will attack anything that moves for food or for sport. They tend to swarm prey in pairs or up to groups of 5-6.
~5 feet tall (152.4 cm. Average height)
Males are usually dark earthen colors, blacks, browns, with bright splashes of colors and iridescent patches at joints and on thorax, abdomen, and mandibles. Females can br bright garish colors all over and usually have a more flamboyant appearance.
Eyes are usually a bright color, and glint in the light (iridescent). They are moderately to mildly intelligent and capable of a garbled and somewhat choppy speech. Have their own language that can be learned and translated. Magic can be used by wolves to better understand them or to enhance the Tylax's speech capabilities.
They are in tuned to the dark and earth, preferring a lifestyle below ground in caverns or in the hearts of massive tree systems. They are a social species staying in nests of up to fifty members and are matriarchal with a queen at the heart of each nest.
They range from spindly to bulky-looking, some having long shaggy fur-like coverings sprouting from their exoskeleton and others have fine little hairs. They can have 6-8 legs and females tend to be larger than males and have more legs. They can have 8-10 eyes as well and they have enhanced night vision capabilities and can see in many directions due to the multiple eyes.
Some are even known to have wings (2-4 sets) that sprout from the thorax. They have long antennae that can vary from antler like  on males to long feather like ones on females.

Note: Carnivorous and will try to eat anything smaller than them. Have large pincers, stingers, and even special defenses like scalding water or acid that they can deploy when threatened. Some have venom as well or poisoned skin that when bit can cause reactions in certain animals (hallucinations, drowsiness, vomiting)
Dunno if they count as a subspecies of griffon or an entirely separate species, but I thought there'd be no harm in putting 'em here.

Locations - High altitudes; prefer nesting in mountainous caves.
Nah they're a separate species! I think... Or at least I consider them separate! But that's an awesome addition to the mythical beasts, I forgot about them :0 anyway thank you!

Also if you'd like we still need info typed up on the unicorns, phoenixes, and the other ones that are blank right now or short and brief for the guide book. Its okay if you don't have time but help would be awesome<3
I'll try my hand at a descriptions for a few of these:

Unicorn - Equine at a glance, but with a distinctly deerlike litheness to their bodies. While unicorns can vary in appearance from habitat to habitat, they usually always have cloven hooves, a long tufted tail, and a single horn, whether curved or straight, Unicorns found in the tropical rainforests are often smaller and stockier than their temperate-forest cousins, and may sport roached manes or dun markings, while forest unicorns may have dappling down their sides, like a fawn. Albino Hufsa are rare, and often take on roles as priests and sages. They worship a single, enigmatic god they refer to as the Craftsmaster, who they claim inspired their technological prowess.
Yo love the Hufsa!!! And the Unicorn and phoenix!<3 Thank you for helping out! I'll be drawing a picture of them soon! If you have any additions to the others I'd love to hear them! You're descriptions are great and ill add them to the list with a credit line for you!
