OOC: Short post, don't shoot me:o

Palms would scrape against the surface of the earthen floor, the green nymph taking a moment to stop and gather her thoughts. She debated whether or not this was worth the climb up, whether it would be to difficult for the babe or in fact, if she was just to lazy to even begin. Though, Persephone also knew she had very little to do today either, all the wolves she had previously met seemed busy, or she was unable to find. Though she wasn't particularly searching for them. With only a moments more of hesitation, the maiden would shift her bodice, limbs starting the journey. She would move quickly and quietly, her moves calculating as she made sure not to miss a step. She was not gonna risk plunging to her death while she was still so youthful. A big, extravagant sigh would leave parched lips, soon growing bored and wondering how she made such a decision, nothing up here would be worth her time. would it? The green nymph would soon take a break, slowly coming close to the edge to peer down on the view below, but all she could possibly think about was the height. Who would be crazy enough to travel here? There was very little to do, or eat... or socialize.
He could feel the frigid air pressing in around him, settling over him like a soothing blanket and as he in the higher reaches of the mountains. Eyes closed and he allowed the chill to seep into his bones, to push out any residual heat that may have been lurking there. For once his cold breath didn’t drift from lips in puffs as it hit warmer air, for once ice was beginning to form around his eyes and the bases of his bone spurs without melting as fast as it formed. It felt glorious to be cold… He drew in a deep breath through his nose, allowing icy air to chill his airways before he pushed it back out and eyes fluttered open once more. For once that mournful look seemed to melt into something close to a smile, edged of inky lips twitching their way up into the smallest hint of a smile before whatever emotion had triggered the expression cut the puppet strings and his lips turned downwards again. Ears remained flattened to the sides, held outwards rather then flat against his neck. Slowly skull would lower so it ran parallel with his spine, massive horns settling on either side of his bone spurs before he would take his first step into the caverns.

Luminescent nails clicked and clacked as he strode into the caverns, long limbs reaching forward and being placed carefully before weight would shift forward and he would carry along. Tail dragged along the stone behind him, the end twitched and curled as usual but he couldn’t be bothered to lift it off the ground at this point in time. He didn’t move his cranium to gaze around, didn’t bother to move his body position other then to take the occasional twist and turn. The going was slow and every so often he would end up back where he started. But it wasn't long before company would appear, a flash of green that for a moment made his breath catch in his throat but there was more movement, tendrils drifting behind her and she was striped rather then hosting a racoon tail. Pity. But still he couldn't help but halt in his trek and lumber over to the edge of his ledge to study her. She was a few ledges below but not too far. "Hello..." He would say, his voice soft though still managed to carry the distance between them as he looked down at her.

There was a slight hum in the spring breeze, touching her skin in the most affectionate of ways. Though, everything else screamed silent. No signs of life popped out to her as she had strolled, nothing fascinating or vibrant to steal her gaze. No, the simplicity was rather awful! As the green nymph peered over the side to gaze down below, where she could only just see the aspects of life dotted around. Her hands would grab automatically onto the sides as a sort of security, feeling as though anything could happen at any given time. Just as she was about to peel herself away from the edge of Promontorium a soft, gruff tone would hit her triangular lobes, momentarily startling the maiden. In a moment of panic, the woman's muscles would tense, Before grabbing the first thing she would see, a rock. It was slightly larger then her hand, though not by a great deal, making it easy for her to pick up. Once she had calmed down, she would peer up at the large behemoth that lingered, her eyes slitting ever so slightly. She would aim a single forearm to his face, though she would not throw. Balancing on her other three legs. " You! I hope you realize the startle you just gave me! I could have... could have fallen to my death!"

She would turn her cranium to get a better view of him. Oh. How handsome! but that didn't matter right now she soon realized. " Don't make me throw this rock at your face! I bet you're the king of these mountains..." She would gasp before continuing, of course he was! " Oh no... You've come to eat me! you must have! how else do you get food? How else do you stay so big!" She was half tempted to go right over to him to inspect him further, though she must stay on the safe side. She was to young to die. Perhaps he was going to take her captive... or what if he made her a slave? She knew coming up here was a big mistake. But what if she had it all wrong and he was indeed cuddly? Persephone felt like hugging right now, though the rock in her hand said otherwise. As time ticked by, a light drizzle would begin to pat onto her pelt and she could only hope it didn't begin to shower it down, she'd freeze and become ever so grumpy. It was also a long way from home.

He didn't shy away nor shield himself from her as she panicked and picked up a rock before aiming it at him. She was a fair enough distance away that he wasn't overly concerned about her ability to lobe that thing at him, he was more interested in those curious toes she was sporting, so much like Diell's... Could she be a sibling? Diell had said that she had four siblings, he could only assume that they were around somewhere. The woman would accuse him of scaring her and of almost causing her to fall and plummet to her death. "Why so jumpy forest nymph?" He would ask, his voice a soft rumble. Jumpy wolves didn't last long, they were the ones who panicked and electrocuted themselves in the heat of the moment thinking they were under attack when rabbits ran past them. Or in this case, freaking out and jumping when someone simply was trying to greet them and then plummeting to their deaths. The world wasn't a place for the jumpy and scared... She would threaten to throw the rock at his face before coming to the conclusion that he was the king of this mountain, though how one thought had lead to the next was completely beyond his comprehension and slowly brows would furrow and knit together.

She would state that he had come to eat her and he would stare at her throughout her entire speech. Did she know...? She was green... Why did that make him think that she had run into Dione... There was no logic there and yet the question persisted even as the silence stretched between them and it began to rain. It was just a light misting but thats how it always started here. He was still standing beneath the shelter of the caves, only his head poking out to look at her and therefore only his head was getting wet. "Come inside before you drown." It was an odd statement but slowly he would turn and retreat back into the caves. It was cold near the entrance, cold enough that his breath didn't form clouds when it hit the air, but deeper within it was warmer where the hot springs were. He didn't look back to make sure she was coming before he would start moving back towards the interior, massive tail dragging in the dirt behind him like a dead snake, only the tip tilted up ever so slightly so it didn't snag on anything.

Her gaze would remain slit and daring, rock still in her grasp if he chose to pounce and prey upon her. It would seem alas he would not budge though, was she not threatening enough? Her brow would simply raise, and all fears diminished. " It doesn't hurt anyone to be cautious. She would huff, before throwing the rock over the side. She would inspect him further, nearing closer and closer until she found herself on the same ground level. She realized them horns and spurs looked rather pointy, and she was half tempted to snap them of so that she could wear them as a necklace. Withought thinking, she would aim to close the distance, sniffing his scent, her nose twitching. She would attempt to slide under his belly and circle back to his rump, aiming to carefully grab his tail and groom it with her fingers briefly. " You smell stranger" She would call, before aiming to come towards his front once again. What she soon realized throughout their meeting. He was staring at her. STARING. The green nymph would gasp, holding one forelimb to her chest. " Why are you staring at me like that! are you... are you trying to say I'm ugly?!" before her tempter could rise, she would think about the suggestion to go inside, as the rain clung to her smaller frame. And just like that, her temper ceased as she hopped happily to the entrance, it was dark. " do you have any lights?" everything was less haunting with lights. in between complaining, she would find the perfect area to sit, near the entrance to watch the rain hammer down, though safe from getting any of it upon her.
She would stare him down for quite some time before she seemed to come to the conclusion that perhaps he wasn't so frightening as which time she would offer some resigned words before chucking the rock over the ledge. All the while his eyes would follow those odd paws that looked so much like Diell's, though perhaps this woman's 'toes' were longer. He couldn't be sure unless they were to put their paws together, his depth perception had always been a bit... Off... She would begin to inch towards him, carefully at first as she studied him before a moment later she was exploring him. He was used to being around smaller wolves, especially the miniature ones but this was a stranger and here she was walking around beneath his belly and grooming his tail. It wasn't exactly a pleasant sensation for him and slowly massive tail would lift higher above her head, hopefully out of reach, before coiling it beside him like a massive snake. Unlike most wolves with long tails his was almost pure muscle, getting its size from muscle and fat rather then long fur. His tail fur was only slightly thicker then his body to keep the appendage warm in the cold seasons.

She would promptly tell him that he smelt and he would sigh softly before giving up and wandering inside. She would do on to accuse him of calling her ugly but he wouldn't respond as he disappeared into the caverns though he was stick fairly close to the mouth of the cave, here to wait for Diell to come home though with the rain he supposed she had sought out some shelter somewhere. She would hop after him a moment later as if all was forgotten, asking him if he had any light. His nails glowed fairly brightly, casting the massive man in a rather strange light. But slowly he would part his jaws and allow elongated tongue to roll out over his jaws like a nightlight. At the same time cold breath would hit the warmer hair causing little clouds of fog to form before his mouth, catching the light and making it look even more eerie.

He would look down to her paws once more before dropping himself into a laying position, massive tail dragging through the dirt to lay still wrapped around him. He would continue to study her for a moment before looking out at the world as the sky poured down around them. "You have paws like my friend." He would state simply, explaining his earlier staring. He wouldn't mention that the green of her pelt made him think of his old friend whom he had lost track what seemed like forever ago. Hopefully she wasn't dead... "You have any lights?" He would ask without looking back to her, seemingly pulled in and mystified by the rain as it cascaded down around them. He had always loved the rain. It made the world damp and chilly, something that he loved with his lowered body temperature.
