                    <p>He was beginning to settle, the pack was beginning to settle. Andraste had called a pack hunt and finally everyone had food in their bellies which made him a little bit less edgy. Maybe it was time to finally address the elephant in the room. Slowly the massive male would unfurl himself from his new nest before stepping out and leaving his corner of a smaller cave. He would slip into the main area before heading towards the entrance. Movements were slow and sluggish, he hadn't been sleeping well since the fight and it was time to deal with it all. Eyes would close slowly and lower jaw would unhinge and he would slowly begin letting out inaudible sonar pings. It was dark in the cave, it gave him more reason to use the stupid useless talent he had. That and being able to twist his head... Yeah... So helpful in this world. His wings really were more useful then these so called powers... But with it's help he would bring himself to one of the larger hot springs, one of the ones that were large but shallow and therefor not as deep with holes in the ceiling  for light to shine through. It really was a beautiful place... Slowly he would come to the edge of the pool before letting out a loud bark. The whole cavern would reverberate the sound, sending it off down various hallways hopefully to flush out his siblings and call them forward. Yes it was time to deal with it all...</p>

She had not stayed at the mountain, or even stepped foot on the mountain since the meeting. She had been with Andy, tending to her injuries and filling her belly. Wings carried her up the mountain, finding her brothers scent with ease before setting herself down just outside the caves. Her brothers bark echoed outside, bouncing off the mountain. A sigh heaved her sides before she stepped inside, moving slowly until her eyes adjusted to the near complete darkness. A wing extended to touch a wall, using it as a guide until she stood several feet from her brother. Glacial eyes watched him, face carefully blank of any emotion, aside from a lifted brow.
<P>
Claws clicked against the stone, waiting for her brother to spout his angry, illogical words. She did not agree with, and probably never would, and nothing he could say would change that. If given the chance, she would kick the woman off a ledge and walk away, whistling innocently. But unfortunately, the bitch had wings, so slightly more drastic measures would need to be taken first. She did not sit, keeping wings loosely at her side. Impatience rolled off her. Might as well get this over with as soon as possible.

The brightly coloured male was putting the finishing touches on his little den. His nest was coming together rather lovely he thought as he fluffed up the pile of various feathers. Cardinal had made himself busy making his place suit his tastes. He had caught various birds, plucking various feathers from their body and even managed to gather a few feathers that looked an awful lot like his sibling’s feathers. Although he would never admit to it, he had stolen a single unnoticeable feather from each of his siblings, even his half siblings. He was careful to take only one that had fallen recently from their forms. Regardless if he had plucked it from their bodies or not he was certain they wouldn’t be too pleased, especially Caracara and Warbler. So this was a little secret he would keep to himself.

His little nest was both colourful and fluffy to lie in. Perfect to gain the ultimate amount of beauty sleep. The male would smile at his nest his obsidian eyes would seemingly shine in his pride of a job well done. He could fully rest now that his sleeping place wasn’t so drab and boring. He would pause and look at his nest a little more. Deciding he didn’t like to positioning of his sibling’s feathers he delicately picked up Indian’s and moved it on the other side of Caracara’s. He would then shift paradise’s and mix hers with Widow’s. He frowned there was something missing. Noticing a lack of red Cardinal twisted his head back and grabbed a hold of a feather from his own body. With a small tug, he would wince as he managed to pluck a feather from himself, his eyes would water just a little as he delicately sat his feather with Warbler’s.

<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"There the whole family is looking fabulous together.”</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"> He would say a smirk in place on his mouth.
Before the male could think of anything else for his nest his ears would perk right up catching the call of his brother Indian. It would appear he and his siblings were being summoned. With a final glance at his masterpiece Cardinal would slip out of his den and make his way to his brother.
He would lean his body against the wall to help guide him along. He would frown as he did this, he might just be getting dirty rubbing up against the cave walls, but this was better than running into walls or anyone.
His eyes would blink as light was coming back and his eyes would adjust. A smile would stretch across his face as he drew closer to his half siblings Caracara and Indian. He would sit himself down a small distance from them.
<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"If I might be so bold to state you both look lovely as usual. I do hope this small gathering is to talk of beautiful things.”</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"> He would state with a mischievous little twinkle to his eye.

<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Speech."</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"><em>Thoughts.</em></font></div></div>
His sister was the first to arrive and immediately yellow gaze would size her up as if preparing for a fight of their own but instead he would remain silent, waiting for at least one other to act as a buffer of sorts to keep them from going at it too much. Unfortunately that buffer was Cardinal. The flamboyant make was the last thing Indian wanted to use to keep the peace right now. The red male would offer a simple greeting, a compliment and Indian would nod tersely in acceptance of it though his eyes remained locked on his sister. Either Cardinal was completely oblivious to the tension or he was trying to lighten it... Who really knew. <b>"We need to talk"</b> It was a statement, not a request and it was completely directed at his sister though he figured he owed his other siblings an explanation as well. Widow had known about Indian's intentions but had not shown up. Hell he hadn't seen her since they had moved here... Was she cross at him as well...? <b>"I can't have you attacking Andraste every time you two are alone. That kind of discord is not good for a growing pack. If you like you can take the council with Warbler. But if you remain in your position you will be working with her quite a bit."</b> <i>'And I don't know if I can trust you anymore.'</i> He would silently add though the words would not leave his mouth.
<center><link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Calligraffitti' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

<div style="background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/okizEWb.jpg'); background-color: #000000; background-position: top center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: 550px; width: 500px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; text-align: justify;"><div style="padding: 580px 50px 30px"><div align="center" style="color: #000000; font-size: 25px; font-family: 'Calligraffitti', georgia, serif; padding: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;">
</div>

The bright red male would shift his gaze from his brother to his sister. It would appear things were not quite so happy here in paradise. He would fall into silence as the tensions in the cave would appear to jut grow ever more. He would look around in hopes one of his full blooded siblings would appear. Paradise being his number one hope, but even if Warbler where to show his face he would feel a little better. For the moment he was seemingly pinned between two siblings who are at ends with each other.

<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Andraste, the beauty with wings whom isn’t a Madar."</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"> Cardinal would mumble to himself as he thought of their queen that Indian had chosen.
<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Is Caracara a tad bit jealous?"</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"> He would ask with a mischievous smirk stretching across his face. He would only have to look at Caracara a moment before his smirk would quickly desolve. He was probably not helping matters much, and he definitely hadn’t wanted to push more buttons.
<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Sorry, I didn’t mean to…. I don’t blame you for being jealous Cara…."</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"> He would quickly add a little more softly.
<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"“Indian why did you pick her anyway?"</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;">Cardinal would ask sounding almost bored, but this wasn’t the case. He was curious to know the reasoning’s behind the things he did.

Once again the red male would find himself looking around the cave, his ears listening for someone else to join them, he was becoming uncomfortable and didn’t want to be stuck in the middle of a fight if one were to break out. He had no doubts his brother Indian could take Caracara, but it wouldn’t hurt him any less. Family was everything; to see them fight was almost heartbreaking. Even if the fight was between two of his half siblings.
<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Perhaps before our feathers get too ruffled we should wait for more to show their faces? Like Paradise or Warbler perhaps?"</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"> Cardinal would ask smoothly. He could very well be treading on thin ice right here. He made sure not to stare at either sibling for too long, almost fearful of meeting their gazes and seeing their flames of hate.

<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Speech."</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"><em>Thoughts.</em></font></div></div>

<P> The call would ring out, summoning the entire family to a meeting. It was very rare to have this happen, Paradise soon realized. The last time they had a gathering, it was a few seasons  ago, it was only a brief meeting, to see how many of the Madars still lingered on the borderlines, waiting for their time to rise. As usual, Paradise would waste no time in raising to her limbs and gliding towards the call, her steps as usual, calculated and soft. It didn't take her long to get to the destination, soon realizing she was late. Or at least, came just as soon as the tension started to build between the family. The ashen nymph heard the little bicker from a distance, tuning in on the early stages so she wasn't lost once she made her appearance known. Paradise would linger near Cardinal, watching Indian and Cara closely. " I'm wondering the same about this new queen. Why did you pick her Indian? Perhaps if we know we'll understand your decision." Her sultry voice would remain calm and collected. Recently, the queen had been tolerable. Perhaps one day Andraste can over come the families hostility and gain their trust.
</div></div></center>
<center><table width=500px><tr><td>

There was a tense silence before they were joined by Cardinal. She had not seen her red brother since she had all but chased him from Andruils den. Indy would speak first, stating the obvious. Then he would try to demote her, silently speaking volumes that he didn't trust her. Lips unfurled but Cardinals voice echoed in her skull. Glacial gaze snapped to him with a look that could kill. <b>"Excuse me?"</b> Words were like silk that threatened to hang him. He seemed to quickly realize his mistake and tried to back pedal, but only dug a deeper hole but again calling her jealous. <b>"So help me god, I am going to drag you out of these caves and kick you off the nearest cliff."</b> She snarled before returning her attention to her brother. <b>"You are not demoting me."</b> She stated. <b>"Perhaps if you let your <i>Queen</i> earn her crown, there wouldn't be a problem."</b> But instead her brother had interrupted, showing to the entire pack and herself that their Queen couldn't even defend herself without his help.
<P>
Cardinal dared to speak again, though to Indy this time, wanting to know why he had chosen the purple bitch. Paradise's voice filled the caves, wanting to know the exact same thing. <b>"Yes, please do enlighten us."</b> She snapped. <b>"And if you say its because she's pretty..."</b> Her voice trailed off, her beauty could easily be changed. She pinned her brother with a stare that spoke volumes. Her brother couldn't trust her to behave and she couldn't trust him to make good decisions.

</td></tr></table></center>
Cardinal would speak before Cara could, slowly backing himself into a corner. Even when he tried to back peddle and catch himself he might as well have signed his own death warrant. And for some reason Indian couldn't help himself, lips would twitch up at the corners and a chuckle would rumble up his throat. It was a sound he had ony recently discovered he could make, thanks to Andra. The normally stoic male would simply watch his siblings argue, Cara threatening Cardinal just as Paradise walked in. And then the attention was back on him, Paradise and Cadinal both asking him to enlighten them on his choice for a secondary and Cara chiming in. Don't say she is beautiful... Slowly he would stand, throat clearing as if about to make some grand speech when in fact he was just trying to whip the smirk from his face before anyone noticed. <b>"Keep your rank then. Fight her if you think that will help in some way but win or loose she will stay as queen. She defended herself when you attacked and that's all I needed to see. Starting a fight on the first day I try and rise to power in front of wolves we do not know is unwise and rash. We need to show unity before the pack otherwise why would they look to us in times of need..."</b> Something was bubblin writhing his chest, a heat. Was that anger?

Though unimpressed with Cara's immature temper tantrum at the first pack meeting he would move on to address the topic that everyone seemed to want to discuss, his reasoning to allowing Andraste to ascend to the throne without consulting his siblings. <b>"Our father kidnaps the women he believe will be the best to carry on his lineage based on looks. You are the one who wished me to be more like him. I am just achieving my goals through bribery rather then kidnapping."</b> He would say blandly as if it was the most obvious answer. Not that that was his reasoning but really who cared? This had nothing to do with them. <b>"She is of good breeding and upbringing, she will be an ideal mother to further our... <I>My</I> bloodline. As for leading she is of sound mind and body, she is capable of speaking to crowds, something I falter at. She was the most ideal candidate to cover my faults and I hers. What more reasoning do you want?"</b> Again his tone was one that just thought it was completely obvious. Why couldn't they see this logically rather then emotionally?

<div style="background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/okizEWb.jpg'); background-color: #000000; background-position: top center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: 550px; width: 500px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 11px; color: #ffffff; text-align: justify;"><div style="padding: 580px 50px 30px"><div align="center" style="color: #000000; font-size: 25px; font-family: 'Calligraffitti', georgia, serif; padding: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;">

Cardinal’s ears would flatten as Cara would snap at him. The male immediately had regretted opening his mouth. Clearly now was not the time for jokes, or Caracara needed to learn to lighten up some. Either way he lightened right up when his sister Paradise would show her face. He would smile at her warmly welcoming her, he also felt relieved that he wouldn’t have to be pinned between two siblings who weren’t particularly very friendly towards each other at the moment. His eyes would try to avoid meeting Caracara’s in fear she may jut leap at him. Her temper was something else.
He would turn to Indian and listen to what his blue brother would have to say.
He would point out that their father often kidnapped women, and that he was just more or less doing the same as he had. He would also note he hadn’t said it was because she was pretty.

<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Cara she is pretty… I rather like her… the looks of her anyways. I’m glad our brother chose her, we need to be surrounded by pretty things… there is more beautiful things then us. Of course nothing rivals our beauty.”</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;">Cardinal would speak again unable to hold his tongue.
He was tempted to ask if it would be perfectly alright to ask this queen of theirs for one of her feathers to add to his collection of feathers, but perhaps now wasn’t the best time. Besides if he asked he was sure to give away his little secret of acquiring a feather from each sibling, and Caracara would certainly lose it on him then.

<font style="color: #262836; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Speech."</b></font> <font style="color: #F6F6F7;"><em>Thoughts.</em></font></div></div>

<P> Paradise would linger more on the sidelines, being a spectator while watching the events unfold. She felt as though she could cut the tension with a knife, though it quickly ceased as Indian would explain himself and why he had chosen this queen. As a king, she could understand his anger. As a ruler, he shouldn't have to explain himself to his family. He should have full control withought having the Madars at his back. Perhaps, Paradise realized, they must change their attitudes. She would part her lips then, giving in her opinion on the situation. " Indian's right, she didn't simply submit when a challenge came her way. It's also clear she'd be a suitable carrier for future Madar children, she's also calm and collected, perhaps she would benefit us all. Anyway, if she slacks I'm sure we'll waste no time in demoting her. But for now, if we like it or not she is our queen, challenging her will make our pack look divided." Whether we liked her or not, we can't falter, packs may see this as an advantage to move in on Caelum. If Paradise still believes Andraste is unworthy in a few months time, she will seek out Indian. But for now, she must give there queen a chance.
