He slipped from his borders silently and with relieved steps. Too much estrogen. And too much drama had unfolded. Evike protecting a trespasser, his mother going after Evike, Evike secretly plotting his death no doubt. He was definitely going to need to recruit some males into his pack or he was going to lose it. He had made the decision that he would seek out the other pack, determine a standing with them before anything should happen. It was not hard to find them, they had claimed the mountain in the middle of the entire land, and were across the lake. Nostrils flared at the smell of the borders, legs bringing him to a halt so as not trespass, no need to make enemies without even meeting them first.
<P>
He stood silently, peering up the mountain, wondering why anyone would want to live here, it would be a pain in the ass to get anywhere. Shaking his head, he tossed his crown back, a howl for the alpha slipping from his lips. His voice echoed off the mountain, hopefully reaching around to wherever it was that they resided specifically. Concluding his summons, haunches reclined towards the earth as he sat tall, waiting for whoever ruled this pack to arrive.

<font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Speech."</b></font> <font style="color: #64110B;"><em>Thoughts.</em></font></div></div>
For once he was nearby, lounging near the base of the mountains rather then high in its peaks near Rogo. It had come to his attention that most of their members were not winged, that they might have a struggle for them to find him and so he had been spending more time near the base of the mountain to make himself more available to his followers. Followers... He had followers... How very odd. He was lounging on a ledge when he heard the call, strange and foreign. To his knowledge he had simply assumed that they were the sole pack in these lands since the fall of the last two. But he had also not been north since claiming his pack. So as far as he knew this might as well have been a new potential member. Slowly he would lift his massive weight up before wingspan would unfurl and he would allow himself to drop off the ledge. A stray air current would drop him off near the boarder where he would wander along the perimeter before it would bring him to the sight of the calling, and to the vicinity of of an odd black male with silver markings and spines lining his back. He was large, not quite as tall as Indy but his girth was impressive. <b>"You called?"</b> He would say easily. Though... This male smelt of one particular land and of other wolves... Was he a pack wolf, was there another pack he didn't know of? How odd...

He did not wait long, a sky colored man only slightly larger than himself approached on foot despite his wings. His expression did not change at the mans peculiar question. Yes, he did indeed call.  <font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Yes, I am Odysseus Elysius, King of the Nekros Pack in the north."</b></font> He introduced himself, trying to determine if this man was the alpha of this particular pack. <font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Can I assume you are the leader here?"</b></font> He inquired with a faint tip of his skull. He took a moment to soak in the mans peculiar appearance. Feathers adorned his body, his legs very much bird like with mean looking claws. His ears were long and pointed, giving way to more feathers. He did not have a wolf's tail but instead more avian like features. He was different looking to say the least. But he did not comment on it, meeting the mans yellow gaze evenly. He was here on business, not to gawk  at the weirdos that this land produced, besides this man could prove to be a valuable ally or a vicious enemy. Silver tipped ears cupped forward, focusing on the man rather than the foreign sounds that echoed off the mountain side.

<font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Speech."</b></font> <font style="color: #64110B;"><em>Thoughts.</em></font></div></div>
The man would introduce himself and formally name himself the king of a northern pack. Fuck. Shit. Tit. Balls. Fuck... Where was Andra when you needed her. The last thing he wanted to be doing alone was politics, he had a reputation for unintentionally pissing people off... Sometimes without even knowing. He would ask if Indian was the leader here and he would nod once. "You can. My second is Andraste, if I am ever away. I am Indian Madar, Samrat of Caelum Cluth." He would state in introduction. Good thing this guy seemed to know what he was doing, that meant that Indian could hopefully just follow along with his lead because he had no idea what to do in political meetings. To save them from standing in awkward silence though Indian would carry on, hopefully in the direction the man had intended to go. "Apologies, we didn't realize another pack was to the north. I thought the two that dwelled here were the only ones otherwise I would have come to see you. Can I offer a meal to go with talks of politics?" It was only polite considering Indian could have flown to see him in no time and yet he had made this male walk the whole way. That had to have sucked.

<div style="background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/8aiBq0x.png'); background-color: #6e604e; background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: 600px; width: 600px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 11px; color: #000000; text-align: justify;"><div style="padding: 50px 50px 450px"><div align="center" style="color: #49201A; font-size: 25px; font-family: 'Calligraffitti', georgia, serif; padding: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;">

This man was indeed the ruler, Indian Madar, Samrat of Caelum Clutch. His second was Andraste, but seemed to be missing so the ebony male did not concern himself with the wolf other than remembering the name. He continued with an apology, being unaware of their existence, otherwise he would have already visited. He would offer a meal to go along with the talk of politics. <font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Certainly."</b></font> He would dip his head in appreciation and acceptance. <font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"My pack is in the forest just on the other side of the lake."</b></font> He would offer, should the man ever want to seek him out. He would wait for the winged man to invite him in, though he did stand, taking a moment to peer up the mountain. <font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"I was hoping to establish a standing between our packs, learn a bit about each other if you will."</b></font> He spoke smoothly, speaking to others having come naturally to him since he was a child.

<font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Speech."</b></font> <font style="color: #64110B;"><em>Thoughts.</em></font></div></div>
Odysseus would take Indian up on his offer for food and immediately the winged man would dip his head, inclining it slightly in silent invitation as well as lifting a taloned hand and motioning for him to follow. "I hope mountain goat will be alright." He would offer as he began heading back towards the foothills, thankfully their hunting site hadn't been far from here and only a day earlier, he had learned that a few of his members didn't have much of a taste for the meat. The male would offer directions to his home and Indian would nod slowly. "I'll be sure to visit next time. Or if you need us feel free to call, if only a lake separates us it would be better for me to fly to force you to walk around..." God he was a jackass... And now the man had to walk all the way back home. Maybe he and Andra could suspend him on a rope of sorts... Maybe fabric? Fly him across the lake together...? No he could only see that ending in tragedy... Ody would offer his intentions and Indian would muse on this for a moment, a standing... He hadn't really decided how he wanted to handle other packs, if he would be willing to offer alliances or if he wanted to stay neutral. Oh dear god he was so not prepared for this. "That sounds like a good place to start, tell me about yourself, your pack. Are you fairly new?" He would ask as he walked, slowly leading the way to their kill.

<div style="background-image: url('http://i.imgur.com/8aiBq0x.png'); background-color: #6e604e; background-position: bottom center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-size: 600px; width: 600px; font-family: georgia, serif; font-size: 11px; color: #000000; text-align: justify;"><div style="padding: 50px 50px 450px"><div align="center" style="color: #49201A; font-size: 25px; font-family: 'Calligraffitti', georgia, serif; padding: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px;">

The winged man would offer mountain goat and he would nod, it was not a particular prey that he had running around in the forest, but he was not going to be rude. Yet. The man extended an invitation and he stepped over the border, prepared to follow the ruler wherever he went. The man was very willing to make his life as easy as possible, offering him to come visit so that he didn't have to walk all the way around. It must be nice having wings. <font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"I'll keep that in mind."</b></font> He said with a faint smirk. Indian took a moment to think over his proposal before finding it a reasonable place to start and offering a question of his own. <font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"About a month or two."</b></font> He replied with a shrug, he hadn't paid much attention to the time that passed, he had only been focused on keeping his pack alive and well. <font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"I suspect you have been around longer, I recall the last two packs vanishing."</b></font> He commented, peering over the man, waiting for a confirmation or correction.

<font style="color: #2B1313; font-variant: small-caps;"><b>"Speech."</b></font> <font style="color: #64110B;"><em>Thoughts.</em></font></div></div>
His new companion would follow him and Indian would set a more leisurely pace so they could chat before stuffing their faces. He would walk along side the man, a bit ahead to lead the way though. Ody would say that he would keep the idea of calling him in mind and Indian would nod slightly, still feeling that pang of guilt in his gut from making the man walk. He would say that his pack had been around for about a month or two, also adding on that he assumed Indian had been around longer and taking note of the last two packs. ”Unfortunately we are quite new ourselves, I probably haven’t been in charge much longer then you. But we all knew each other. Most of my pack is my siblings, the rest are the remains of the old pack that I belonged to. I kind of just took over when our alpha left us starving in the foothills. Seems the other leader did that too, we have a few from her old pack.” Indian would say, very nonchalantly offering a history lesson. Yup, he would be giving launch codes away if Ody was a spy. Good job… ”We are a fairly neutral pack ourselves, I honestly don’t know what to tell you about us…” Indian would say, trailing off. He didn’t really want to say that they were only a pack because they needed to eat and that he was only the leader because no one else had stepped up…
He followed the man, allowing him to remain slightly ahead in order to lead the way. Ears tipped toward him when he began speaking, giving quite the history lesson on the previous packs. His own pack was comprised mostly of siblings, which was certainly an advantage to be surrounded by family. They had a few stragglers from the fallen packs as well. He was practically spoon feeding him information. The conversation steered towards the present. The pack he ruled was neutral but aside from that he didn't know what else to say. <b>I will not keep you in the dark. My pack is darkly aligned with a variety of wolves, including two slaves. I can promise you no trouble so long as I get no trouble from your pack."</b> He looked over at the man as he offered a pact of neutrality.
Thankfully it wasn't long before they would arrive at the site of their hunt, two partially eaten goats laying where they had been dragged together by the pack so that they could feast. Ody would speak a moment after Indian's little lesson on the packs of Vindico and his own pack, stating that his own pack was darkly aligned. But at the same time he would offer a pact of neutrality. Don't fuck with me, we won't fuck with you... An interesting proposal... He would tip his head curiously and consider this. <b>"For the time this is an offer I can accept and abide by in appreciation of your honesty. Should intentions change though I will have the curtsy to inform you in person, I would request that you do the same?"</b> Indian would ask, slowly coming to seat himself near one of the carcass's and motioning for his guest to help himself to the meal. <b>"I shall inform the pack of this neutrality at our next meeting. In the meantime. Should one of my wolves trouble you please do call myself, I will handle them as I see fit. Should <i>any</i> of your wolves cause trouble or end up at my doorstep... I shall allow you to deal with them."</b> It was a deal Indian deemed fair, yes he would return slaves to the man should they escape. It wasn't his battle to fight for their freedom...
