She had been taking more and more time away from the young boy turning man that had, in her opinion, ruined her body and her life. As with almost every time she took some time away from him she found herself drawn to the north shore, the shore that was closest to the mainland. Every part of her being ached to go back and yet she would only ever lower her tiny frame into the sand, shuffle her limbs close so she could wrap bushy tail around herself then drop her head on her tail and simply stare towards the shore. Today it was clear, the larger island was clearly visible in the not so far distance to the point where Dione would spend quite some time staring at it unblinking. Aule always knew where to find her, if he needed her he could come find her. It was one of the few things that made her glad for this island. It never took long to find each other even if you didn't know where the other was. Plus there were normally no other wolves around to corrupt her young son and there was plenty of prey for him to torment and torture if he so chose. Though she was getting quite sick of a fish diet... Maybe it was about time to head back to the mainland? Meet up with old friends. She hadn't realized how much she had missed the companionship of another adult until Jay had showed up for a little visit.  Maybe he would come back...
